To Our Devoted Followers and Accidental Tourists,

Loyal  Friends and Family:

Our existence would cease here, were it not for your solid support and encouragement…

We owe what we are here…TO YOU. And so, we want you to know how very much that means to us and the heartfelt

affection and gratitude we hold for each of you…Thank you Ever So Much. We are very happy to get 2014 behind us…as many of you know,

we have had an extraordinarily hard year, as we have had to bid farewell to at least 10 of our dearest family and friends.  It seemed like a mass exodus had launched in

a very short period…6 or more just from the end of May to the end of July…it made for a time of low creativity and lots of days between posts.

We only averaged 2.4 posts a week, which is abysmal, especially since most of you are prolific with your own blogs, rain or shine, even in your own adversities.

If YOU can do it, then so can we. We are going to be more focused in 2015, more engaged, and we sincerely hope

to catch up on reading the huge volume of your uniquely interesting posts, giving you back some of the support you were so gracious to give to us.

So, thank you, again… we are humbled and honored to be able to know such talented and fascinating people; to have your friendship.

We want to Especially Thank our Faithful (visits and comments on nearly EVERY post),

Encouraging and Engaged Fans —if not, the most luxuriously whiskered, as in David’s case — 😛

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,700 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.

Honoring the Fallen…here and in many, many other media, as well as most cemeteries, and military establishments, there will be honors, tributes, and ceremonies …we thought we would try to find something to present that most of us have never seen or been aware of, when it comes to ‘cultural’ differences in  various military funerary customs. The beauty and solemnity of the rituals in the clip below will surely leave an impression on you that won’t easily be forgotten.

God Bless All Who Serve In Defense of Their Country and to preserve Freedom, Liberty, and Human Rights which come at terrible expense through the bloodshed of war.

oursoldiers Although May is the traditional month given to the remembrance of the fallen, those enlisted men and women who died while serving and defending their countries, we wanted to remind folks that everyone’s  gratitude is encouraged every day.

We believe it is so easy to forget and take for granted basic freedoms and domestic security  we enjoy in the homeland and abroad.   A quick, personal conscious reflection upon this helps make us more aware of the people who handle these worries and dangers so that the rest of us may go about our lives in peace. And it underscores our debt of gratitude and appreciation owed for this assurance of security, liberty, and  freedom to pursue our personal happiness in attaining dreams we envision for ourselves.

Let us never forget: freedom comes with a heavy price — the lives of countless countrymen and patriots.

The full month of May is actually dedicated to those in enlisted service here in America. The Armed Forces of all branches of our defense are acknowledged and recognized for the active duty personnel; Memorial Day acknowledging those who’ve died, of course.

Even though it is now June, we wanted to pay honor and tribute to the dogs who serve as soldiers and police officersin this post.

These dogs are highly trained and specialize in tasks which expose them to some of the most hazardous duties that no man is capable of doing. The cop or soldier who handles the dog is indeed the partner of the animal throughout his service.  Sometimes they die together on the job. They are partners until the end, usually.

We wanted to pay tribute to the dog-soldiers with the following clip.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

It is also the month to remember those who lose their lives protecting and serving on police duty; those who put their lives on the line in the name of public safety here at home.

A favorite fellow blogger, Samina, dedicates her blog to the police and public safety officers’ support. She features  some very interesting posts about the K 9 dogs, including some really cute pics!

From the “Officer Down Memorial Page” (www.odmp.org/k9), these are the K 9 officers lost in 2014,  all died due to causes which came about as they were on-duty, working.  “EOW” means End of Watch/Date of Death

k9graveLVsun3  Officer Down is a large compiled database of those police killed in the line of duty in U.S. with records going back to the 1800’s, perhaps further. It is a worthwhile place to visit.

Today is Memorial Day…A day to honor the soldiers and civilians, too, who gave up their lives for our country. It is not a day for celebrating, rather it is a day meant to be remembered with solemnity and reflection. A day when we show our gratitude for the precious gift of liberty.

I want to thank my sweetheart, LeeRoy, for pointing today’s video clip out to my attention. I think you’ll find it a moving and fitting tribute for today, as I did.

Hugs to all…be safe wherever you go today, natlcrossescem  CJ and Morguie

P.S. Americans: today, at 3 p.m. wherever you are, please won’t you take a break for a moment of silence, to reflect quietly on the thousands upon thousands of lives lost in defense of your freedoms? Thank you.

Eastern Lightning

Eastern Lightning, the Church of Almighty God was created because of the appearance and work of Almighty God, the second coming of the Lord Jesus, Christ of the last days. It is made up of all those who accept Almighty God’s work in the last days and are conquered and saved by His words. It was entirely founded by Almighty God personally and is led by Him as the Shepherd. It was definitely not created by a person. Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God’s sheep hear God’s voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.
